1. Click the "Settings" icon (the one with the cog wheel) on the right hand side of your screen above your document list
2. From the new menu choose "Upgrade to the new look"
Your main menu should now look like this:
I have changed from Google Docs to Google Drive but my menus is still the same. How do I fix this?

After making the transition to Google Drive the link "Documents" in the top black bar will take about 24 hours to change over to "Drive". However some people have completed this step but their main menu has not changed and looks like this:
To fix this complete the following steps:
1. Click the "Settings" icon (the one with the cog wheel) on the right hand side of your screen above your document list
